Product Specification

Product consistency is essential both for customer satisfaction and profit.

The Ceres central database is designed to originate and monitor a day to day overview of this area for senior management.

In addition to recipe details and a product specification, the Recipe Costing modules also has an integrated scratch pad that not only allows you to expand and fully specify a product and all raw materials, but to supplement photograph numbers of the finished product.

The Product specification module provides a structured database which hold such details as Weights, Dimensions, Volumes, Barcodes, Quality History plus a full descriptive text section for Methods, Ingredient declaration and Label text.

On-line screen displays show all information held in the system to allow comparison with actual day to day weighing, measuring and inspections. A feature is also available to enable scores and comments on individual products to be keyed in for later use.
